In Junk City, where reality feels thin and frayed, a hero drifts through the alleyways in search of his next high. Most people see him as just another addict, but what no one realizes is that he isn’t escaping reality; he’s breaking it.

Known in these streets as “the Hero of Justice”, Junk City’s own native crackhead who saves the day, his adventures await as the world becomes his playground where he plays by his own rules. Time stutters around him, and even the narrator speaks to him — regretfully. The more unstable his perception becomes, the more the fabric of reality bends to match.

Some view him as a guardian angel protecting the forgotten, while others call him a walking catastrophe. As his highs get higher and his lows begin tearing holes in existence, the Hero of Justice must decide:

Will he stay lost in a warped world where he feels in control, or will he keep saving Junk City—and a reality that might collapse without him holding it together?

  • SEBASTION PIETZ

    CREATOR/FOUNDER & WRITER

    Hello, my name is Sebastion. I originally came up with the idea for the Hero of Justice while brainstorming a new Halloween costume at 3 in the morning on my way to a Citgo gas station, with only $5 in my pocket. As I walked, I saw a guy acting like he was having the time of his life, boxing the air and throwing punches as if he was really trying to hit someone I couldn't see. In that moment, I thought to myself, "That could be somebody's hero."

    That experience inspired me to create the Hero of Justice. As a team, we've worked hard to turn this dream into a reality! Over the past six years, we've developed a world and a storyline around this character, introducing many other characters dealing with various problems and addictions, which makes the story compelling, hilarious, and bloody! I truly hope you enjoy it.

    I have loved storytelling since I was young, and I am excited to help bring my best friend's dream to life. This has been a passion project for us since we first met. In addition to my main passions of writing and drawing, I have also competed in kickboxing and have an educational background in biology. I enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge with a wide audience whenever possible!

    My name is Sylvian Juraska. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for drawing and creating anything that comes to mind. Whether I am creating for fun, to convey meaning and inspire others, or to intrigue someone in unexpected ways, I love the process. My work includes drawings of my favorite pop culture icons and stories that incorporate personal insights woven into the visuals I create.

    My name is Chey Roszina, and I am the secondary artist for "The Hero of Justice." I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Conservation while also drawing on the side. I have a passion for storytelling and horror, with a particular fondness for nostalgia. I am new to the Junkcity team, but I am very happy to be here and look forward to seeing how the story develops.

  • DESTINNY PIETZ

    CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER & CONTENT DESIGNER

    I am Destinny Pietz, also known as “Deolinda Abstrac”. I am a Milwaukee-native poet and artist dedicated to empowering women, promoting self-awareness, and fostering body positivity through the power of words. I have self-published three poetry collections: "Day 12 & Still No Wi-Fi" (2024), "Black Girl Be Storm" (2016), and "Fireflies & Peroxide" (2014). I have experience as a High School Slam League Coach in Poetry/Literature competitions nationwide.

    In addition to my writing career, I have acted in stage plays, including a collaboration in the 2017 production of "The Vagina Monologues" by UW-Milwaukee, and participated in MPower Theater productions from 2015 to 2018.

    As an award-winning poet, I have produced globally recognized films such as “the beautiful: the Stories She Tells” and “The Beckoning.” As part of the Melatonin Cooperative, I consistently work to create content that is LARGER THAN LIFE and ready for audiences.

    Hello! I'm Jordan, the creator of this Kickstarter campaign. I also handle various technical and organizational issues that arise while running this project. I have worked as a data analyst for nearly eight years and occasionally enjoy streaming as well. As a long-time comic fan, I believe that with our talented team, we will create a fantastic comic that is not only laugh-out-loud funny but also action-packed.     Hello, I’m Corrina, a performing artist and creative collaborator based in Milwaukee. In my friends’ small business, I provide structured organizational support and artistic guidance to ensure projects remain focused, intentional, and aligned with their creative goals. My role involves offering thoughtful feedback, maintaining momentum, and supporting the team’s vision as it develops.

    In addition to this work, I am an actress with The Dinner Detective and serve as a Standardized Patient with the Medical College of Wisconsin. These experiences have strengthened my skills in communication, adaptability, and character work—qualities I value and bring into every collaborative environment.

    I am excited to contribute to this project because I deeply believe in its mission and the dedication of the team behind it. Being part of a venture built on trust, creativity, and shared ambition is both meaningful and inspiring. I look forward to supporting its continued growth and success.
